Sunday

First of all, how about 'dem Sabres yesterday?!?!

Spent the day grilling, drinking a few beers and finishing reading "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy.  Same author as "No Country for Old Men".  It was different than the stuff I normally read, which is just the typical outdoors stuff, but a great book nonetheless.  I am headed to Syracuse tomorrow and Tuesday, so I may get a chance to go scout Rattlesnake Gulf, which is down near Lafayette.

I am looking into doing some back country snowboarding, so if anyone reads this and has some pointers, I would be much obliged.

Cheers,

Hey Mike, saw your post re: Rattlesnake Gulf. Are you considering kayaking this? If so you are a braver man than I! I was hiking at Raymondskill Falls in PA last week and ran into four kayakers in the parking lot... an intrepid bunch. I'd rather see a waterfall than go over one! Anyway I know something about Rattlesnake Gulf and would be happy to exchange information with you, if you want to tell me how I can contact you.
